PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT SIX EVENTS PER MONTH (ANY COMBINATION OF PRIVATE OR PUBLIC EVENT), NO REQUESTS OVER THIS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

VIME is pleased to offer to run a limited number of trains for private events such as birthday parties or weddings, when possible, between May 1st and September 30th each year.

There will not be any private trains run on a date appearing in the list of Public Event Days (see calendar). If you have a small group on one of those days we would do our best to get the group on one train depending on the numbers of other riders present. Please contact the Day Manager at the site on the day.

The basic event consists of a train and crew which should accommodate up to 50 people for a 2 hour duration, for a $300.00 fee. You may pay in cash or by cheque payable to VIME, present your payment to the Engineer on your arrival. We regret that we can no longer provide rides to children under the age of 2 years.

Train Requests are Closed

Requests will be accepted from March 1st 2026.

Available dates are taken quickly so make a request as soon as possible to be successful.

VIME offers a place for a picnic with tables. Party leaders are expected to leave the site as they found it. In the case of a wedding or larger event requiring larger facilities separate application must be made to Heritage Acres and information is available here.

Please be advised that we are not always able to meet requests or dates. Our events co-ordinator will review applications and advise as soon as possible if we can accommodate you.
